Soup Spoon

This silver soup spoon carries the Amarres Disco pattern, here with a single applied disc marking the piece. The pattern takes its name from the disc, and the soup spoon's larger bowl gives the device room to read.

The applied disc is a clean modern device that recurs across the Amarres Disco line, tying spoons of different functions into one set. On the soup spoon a single disc is enough to place it in the pattern.

The design has been reissued. Original-period Amarres Disco pieces are the collectible interest and come to market only occasionally.
