Day of the Dead Bracelet

Ten stylized "Day of the Dead" links threaded onto a suede leather band, this bracelet draws its subject from one of Mexico's most charged popular traditions and sets it against an unexpected material, the soft leather replacing the usual metal chain. The links translate the festival's skull imagery into a repeated, stylized form rather than a literal depiction.
